The RVRC GP Pro Zip-off Pants are a pair of multifunctional, fully-equipped outdoor pants with detachable legs, transforming them into shorts when the temperature rises. The ergonomic cut eliminates chafing while hiking and cycling. Made with PFC-free Hypershell® material, these pants are both wind- and water-repellent. Durable reinforcements over the thighs, lower legs, and seat add extra strength and protect against wear and tear. The 4-way stretch panels at the top, inside thighs, and behind the knees ventilate and provide incredible comfort. They feature boot hooks at the ends of the legs, which help keep the pants securely in place during any activity. Additionally, the RVRC GP Pro Zip-off Pants feature seven pockets for storage and adjustable leg endings with button closures. These highly versatile, convertible outdoor pants are ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, or simply enjoying the great outdoors.

The bottom part cuff is too narrow. Should have velcro instead so it opens & can be easier to put over calves & boots

Perfect - Color is amazing!
I bought these online for my girlfriend, as I fell in love with the color. She's more of a fan of darker colors, but I wanted her to mix it up a little. She LOVES them. The fit, the feel, the color. And, wow, they look great on her. She's 5'2" and about 140, so has nice curves and I was afraid these would be too slim, as I believe the brand is from Germany; but they're perfect. They have a slightly tougher material around the butt and knees, which is great, offering extra protection.

Seat is baggy
I love the pants and all of the pockets. I ordered a small in the GP Pro zip offs, which was slightly baggy in the seat. I'll be returning these. I replaced them with the Range Pro pants in a small and they fit perfectly.

These pants fit great but color was deceiving. They were called orchid and I thought I was getting black. They are actually dark navy but keeping them anyway.

I really love the pants. They are slightly too big, but that may come in handy when I am adding layers in the winter. Otherwise they are super comfortable to hike it.

Not My Favorite Model
I have several RR pants and these are the least flattering. However, I still appreciate ability to easily switch to shorts while hiking at work. I used to wear 5.11s exclusively at work, but the quality and robustness of this line of pants has fully converted me. I'm between small and medium and medium usually fits a bit better in RR pants. Should have gone with a small for these though.

Worth it!
My husband and I just returned from a six day backpacking trip on Isle Royale and I wore these pants the WHOLE TIME! We hiked through clouds of mosquitoes the temp changed from 85 degrees to 60 degrees on the daily. I am so impressed with the durability and comfort, I'm going to be purchasing at least two more pairs.
