The Nordwand Pants were our first genuine hiking pants and remain among our most popular styles today. Designed with 4-way stretch over the seat, knees and hips, these pants have a flexible fit that allows you to move through the terrain with ease. To protect against abrasion and tearing in rough environments, the Nordwand Pants feature our toughest polycotton canvas over the thighs and lower legs. Six pockets provide smart storage for personal items, and the cuffs are adjustable with Velcro. Overall, these pants are an excellent choice when you need high-performing hiking pants with a great fit.

Waist too high
Love the fit of these pants except the waistline is a couple of inches too high. If you are accustomed to low-rise pants, this will certainly bug you.

Also great returns. I ordered small, but they didn’t fit like the other norwand pairs I purchased. So sent them back for Xs better fit but still a little big. Be sure to check style numbers too. For some reason all styles don’t fit the same. Which is a real bummer cause I real like these pants. I own 5 pair.

First pair!
My husband and I shoot archery and these are so comfortable and the pockets are great! The only thing is I have to wear my low hiking boots because the Velcro was not wide enough to stay over my regular boots. The next pants will be the Pros with the snaps.

I wanted to love them.
I bought these pants from Amazon same brand and same page in size M & S to see which fits better.
M felt really big & S fit good.So I went ahead & bought personally from their page with a S size. Turns out none of them even went over my hips. Super super tight. So I contact them and they were happy to help. So I went & bought a M, turns out they’re big (ugh) I just don’t get it. Specially in the waist section. Small to tight & Medium to big. Returning them all again.

Never better!
So I returned the GP pants for these ones. The GP style didn’t fit me very good. But these ones… theyre insanely perfect! Like totally fit like a glove. Couldn’t fit better actually. They’re so comfortable and thin enough that I can wear them spring-fall in the PNW. As a search and rescue first responder, I need pants that fit properly and these are them. 10/10 recommend. I’m normally a size medium and went with a large in these. I’ll be ordering more in different colors in the future.

Great materials, great fit (I’d prefer slightly narrower in the calf) but happy with them, I’d say they run Small (usually I’d wear a L ).

LOVE these pants
I wasn't sure if these pants would fit my tall frame. Most all hiking pants NEVER fit in the length for me. These, however, FINALLY made the cut. Not only are they a slim fit but they are long, super comfy, and a great quality. I put them to a test right out of the gate, when we took our family to the moutains and went hiking up a creek bed. My legs stayed dry and the water just repelled right off. I am obessed with these pants and can't wait to get more in different colors!
